Author · Financial Advisor · Veteran
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I served over a decade in the U.S. military—first as an Army medic and later as an Air Force science officer. My service instilled values of integrity, service before self, and excellence that guide every area of my life today.
My writing journey began long before ThoughtPager. In high school, my English teacher encouraged me to compete in a poetry competition because I was one of her top students. I felt honored and anxious at the same time — I had never written poetry before. I entered, won in my category, and placed within the top ten overall. That experience sparked something lasting. I continued composing poetry and was privileged to publish my first poetry book in 2000, entitled Thoughts for Life.
In 2010, I began composing one-page reflections — each one a short story paired with a matching poem, anchored in scripture from the Bible to provide a Christian foundation, yet written for anyone seeking encouragement. The positive response from readers inspired me to share these thoughts on a wider stage.
I earned a degree in Chemistry with Physics from the University of the Virgin Islands and an MBA from Webster University. With more than 10 years in financial services as a Financial Advisor and Relationship Manager, I witnessed firsthand how debt impacts lives — and how the right perspective can transform them.
ThoughtPager grew out of all of these experiences. My hope is that some word or some thought here would provide you with inspiration — for a moment in your life, or for the rest of your life — wherever you are.
When I'm not writing or advising clients, I enjoy swimming, cycling, table tennis, reading audiobooks, and traveling — always seeking growth and new experiences.
